There exists a compatibility issue between the various generations of Verdin carrier boards and the Toradex Easy Installer versions shipped on Verdin iMX8M Mini V1.1A modules:
One symptom of having a Toradex Easy Installer version incompatible with the carrier board generation is the lack of display output on displays connected to any of the Verdin DSI display adapters. The root cause of the incompatibility lays in the changes that have been introduced with the latest Verdin Family Specifications update. The issue can be resolved by installing a Toradex Easy Installer version onto the Verdin iMX8M Mini module that is compatible with the Verdin carrier board generation the module is intended to be used with.

In order to install another version of the Toradex Easy Installer, it is necessary to put the SoM into Recovery Mode. To do so, check the recovery mode in iMX SoMs article.
After the board is in recovery mode, install the compatible easy installer version.
