This article explains the limitations and required registry settings to use the suspend mode. It was last updated when the current Windows CE OS release was V1.4.

Colibri T30 and Apalis T30

Suspend mode is currently not supported on Colibri T30 and Apalis T30.

Colibri T20

Suspend Modes LP0 and LP1

The Colibri T20 is designed to support two different suspend modes, called LP0 and LP1. LP0 is the lowest power state, but supports fewer wakeup sources than LP1.

Currently only LP0 mode is tested.

Audio Drivers

When suspending during audio is played, audio playback does not work properly after resuming.

Second CPU core does not resume

When resuming the second CPU core gets not resumed. ColibriMonitor shows the CPU beeing loaded 100%.

Registry Settings

By default, wakeup sources SODIMM43 level high (SDIO Card Detect) is defined in the registry.

[HKLM\System\PM\Suspend]
"WakeupSources" = "pin43h"
To test suspend resume suspend with an inserted SD card and remove it to resume.

Setting the PinStates during suspend is not supported.
