Congratulations you got a Viola Carrier Board. Follow this article's first steps to get it up and running.
Note: This carrier board is not intended for development and evaluation purpose as additional debug and development cables to interface to it will be required which increases the BOM (Bill of Materials) cost for you.
For development and evaluation projects using Colibri modules we advice to use the Colibri Evaluation Board or alternatively the Iris Carrier Board. If you don't have an EDT Display or any compatible display solution you won't be able to see any visual screen using Viola.
Now, you should see the the WinCE/Linux desktop in VGA resolution.
Windows CE offers the Remote Display feature, which allows to control the WinCE desktop from your Development PC.
Please follow the Instructions to use RemoteDisplay Over Ethernet (Automatic Start).
