If you need help or more detailed instructions, read our article iMX Recovery Mode - Verdin SoM Family.

Step 3

Make sure that once you enter recovery mode, you don't power off the board. If you do, execute the recovery mode procedure again.

From the unzipped Toradex Easy Installer directory, run either the recovery-linux.sh or the recovery-windows.bat script, depending on if your computer has Windows or Linux. You will be asked for administrative privileges since this script needs access to your computer's USB port.

If all goes as expected, a message will be printed stating Successfully downloaded Toradex Easy Installer. Otherwise, power off the board and start over the recovery mode process.

Step 4

After a few seconds, you will see the Toradex Easy Installer displayed on the monitor attached to the HDMI port of the DSI to HDMI adapter, which is in turn connected to the Verdin Development Board.
